Hello every body,
In a previous post, I discussed the idea of using visualization as a form of exercise-a concept that continues to intrigue me. This ties to the books I’ve been reading, which delves into the incredible power of the mind.
Let’s start with “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind” by Joseph Murphy, it explores how our subconscious can significantly influence our lives and help achieve goals through positive thinking and visualization.
Next is “The Physics of God” by Joseph Selbie. It offers a captivating blend of science and spirituality, revealing how deep scientific theories and spiritual truths can resonate with each other.
This is possibly my favorite, “Use The Force: A Jedi’s Guide to the Law of Attraction” by Joshua P Warren is a unique take that combines Star Wars’ concept of ‘The Force’ with the law of attraction, emphasizing the power of belief in shaping our reality.
Finaly, Steven Kotler’s “The Rise of Superman” and “The Art of Impossible” investigate the science behind extraordinary human performance, illustrating how tapping into our mental capacities can lead to phenomenal achievements.
These books reinforce a powerful message, famously quoted by Napoleon Hill: “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” This idea of belief transforming thoughts into reality is something we need to remember. Since I started taking Spinraza, I’ve been trying to change what I think and how I think, especially about my body. My goal is to work with my subconscious to start the repair, and then take action. These post are part of that action.
Segueing into a lighter, yet poignant anecdote-let’s talk about my bad lunch decision. I like sushi, no that’s not the bad decision! I like mixing wasabi with my soy sauce, creating this slurry of intense flavor! I had to much soy sauce and thought it would be good to finish my leftover wasabi paste. The first bite was a new experience of pain! Every bite after that was not much different, even when using the least amount possible. I had a bite that made my forehead hurt! It was so intense I know I have chemical burns on my tongue! I finished the two rolls, and dipped every biteā¦
It’s incredible how even a small amount can have such a powerful impact. The smallest dip still had a very powerful outcome! Same for our thoughts, the more we entertain that one thought the more power it gains to become real. Belief shapes our thoughts, our actions, and ultimately our reality.
Hopefully I’ll hear your thongths and experiences with your powers of the mind in the future. Until next time, keep exploring and stay curious!
Adios!
